So this year was the start of a new tradition..GIRLS WEEKEND OUT... yep that's right a whole weekend on our own. Our men go "hunting" three times a year or more, and do "man things" girls apparently can not witness of we would melt or something? while we stay at home and clean and miss them..no fun! So Shaun started our "Girls weekend out". This year we headed first to the "So you think your Witch" at Gardner village, it was a blast and super packed. Got some Halloween decorations, and them we hit up Roberts, and Tia pan for their "Girls night out sale" that wasn't all that great but i this super cute curly willow wreath.
Then we headed up to park city and went and saw the movie the surrogates...(dumb) don't go see it, well back up it wasn't way way bad, but just kinda bad! didn't love it we regretted later no seeing the roller derby movie!..bummer. so that night we went out for some yummy dinner..and came back and chatted and laughed until late...
We stayed at "The Peaks in Park City.."
It was such pretty hotel. We slept in (which was nice) , ate a Carmel apple for breakfast..well "because we can" and when we got up Shaun just started LAUGHING so hard at me. K first you have to know she can not STAND to have her sheets not tucked in on the bottom, and neatly around her...as for me. I am the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! as soon as i get in my bed (especially hotels) I have to pull all the tucked in sides out, i have to have room to stick on leg or arm out during the night!..call me crazy but it's just more comfy with all the blankets flowing freely and not feeling "trapped". Well she thought this picture was hilarious which it is kinda.... SHAUN'S BED (after waking up after sleeping ALL night)...
MY BED ... a master piece. she said she couldn't even see me in the morning..i slept great! haha
That afternoon we headed up to Park City main St. and shopped, then hit up the outlets, sadly we were prepared to spend the cash, and we didn't find much..we were sad! ate lunch and headed home Saturday afternoon. That night we treated ourselves to a hour massage that was heaven at Beyond Spa..if you haven't been oh it was wonderful! a nice ending to a WAY FUN weekend. Thanks again Shaun, it was a blast and i CAN'T wait until next years adventure...hopefully full of more things to buy!

You gals sound like you had a rippin good time...I wish that we were closer...we would have loved to join you...it is so much more fun to do the girlie thing when the guys are away on the hunts...don't ya think!
