"Find The Cure..."

HELP FIND THE CURE... WE CAN DO IT WITH YOUR HELP!

Dear Friends and Family,

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, Causing it to produce extra unusually thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs, and prevents the pancreas from absorbing and breaking down food.Over 75,000 adults and children are effected from this disease, and More than 10 million Americans are symptom less carriers of the defective CF gene. Much progress has been made toward finding a cure for CF, however, the CF Foundation's work is far from over, as precious young lives continue to be lost to this disease. I have been personally affected by CF. My 19 year old Nephew, Kasey, was diagnosed with CF at a young age and has been struggling with the disease throughout his life. He is an excellent athlete as an All-star baseball player and a standout varsity golfer on his High School Team. Despite the challenges his disease has presented he is determined to excel in his athletic loves and in life. Kasey has recently started his first year of college. He's had a tough year struggling with his disease but he continues to set goals and aspirations for his future.CF has begun to take a toll on his abilities and the hope for a cure. We admire and support his efforts and the hope for a cure. At Airgas, we are supporting the CF Foundation by participating in GREAT STRIDES. Toni and I will be walking on May 16th in Denver with a large group of my colleagues in honor of Kasey. Collectively; our team would like to raise more than $1,000.00 for vital CF research. Here is where you can help! Please consider making a tax-deductible donation of what ever your budget will allow to help further vital CF research. I know it's been a tough financial year for all of us but think of the impact this is having on those families of CF patients. I have committed to match 25% of the total that I raise as a personal donation. Please know that not only would I be grateful for your support, but Kasey and the tens of thousands of young people who live with CF every day. Your contribution will enable the CF Foundation to take full advantage of the tremendous opportunities in CF research that are now on the horizon. Making a donation is easy and secure! Just copy the link below and paste it into your Internet browser address line, then enter, to make a donation to my fund-raising page where your donation will be credited to my team. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated! We love you Kasey, and we will continue to fight for you. You are continually inspiring us with you courageous attitude and abilities! We Love you....Love your family! Thank you for supporting this important cause! Sincerely, Doug Jones
