"A Green Memorial Day..."

Memorial day was fun....alot of work! We pretty much did yard work from Friday-Monday, we got our yard spick'n span..with about two truck full of limbs we trimmed and weeds we picked....All weekend my grandmas sister and her daughter were in town...who are a riot, so we all had fun with them. Ate good dinners and went down to grandmas for Aunt Carol Maes famous homemade blueberry pancakes..oh so good and then we started our work on the G-parents house..perry came down to help also and it was so much fun! Kay,Gramps, and Perry planted the garden (cucumbers,tomatoes,peppers,squash,rhubarb,and eggplant)..(who ever helps gets the goods later!!!) and i mowed the lawn..trimmed trees, and helped rip up the whole side garden to lay sod! Who knew working all day could be so much fun?? That night we had a big BBQ hung out and Visited JAYJAY..and left him some gift! We love and miss you Jay Jay!!!
KASEY UPDATE...
Kasey is "Feeling like a new man" and is doing so much better...he is officially been moved to the second floor OUT of the ICU! he is very excited and optimistic to have reached this goal! as of now he is breathing very well on his own, with help from some oxygen..we will know what the next step is soon! Keep ya posted!
