"Look Who is One!!"

Easton's first birthday was so much fun! i told myself i wouldn't be that crazy Mom who spends hundreds of dollars on a birthday who the kids barley if at all remember it. Well that was the plan int he beginning and then i did kinda do too much. We had been "gathering" gifts as we found cool stuff for him for the last few months and didn't realize how much we had bought until we were wrapping his gifts the night before and Kay says "did we buy all this!?" ha ha Spoiled he was..but you only have your first birthday once right?! so here is the overload of pictures...enjoy

Was not crazy into opening gifts, but excited when they were open. Plus he had Sloan and Lairds help!

Started a tradition of taking these two pics with all our kids on their b-days, as you can tell he is way stoked about it!

He is so funny and just kinda "picked" at his cake with his pincher fingers, i suck as a Mom and took a picture of everything BUT his cake before he ate it!

Wanted TWO slices of pizza! ha ha whatever for the Birthday boy!

My parents gave him a Lightning McQueen car that drives and makes McQueen noises, and let me tell you it was the hit, he LOVED it and still does, in fact i think it only took him a handful of times to learn to hold down that little button himself! loves anything that runs!

had a fire that night it was great up until the two pieces of pizza Easton ate and all that sugar he had never had until that day...and you guessed it, thew up..all over my dad right after the picture below(with his cute new boots for g&g Gines)! Good end to any 1st birthday!

All his loot! we asked for no one to bring gifts but you know how that goes, plus i think maybe half there we got him! ha

Oh and one last thing, did i mention that i took over 300 pictures yes! the day after the party i need room on my camera for our vacation so i went to costco and put them on a cd. When i picked the cd up i usually always put it in a check them just in case before i erase them from the card, but this time just looked at the few on the front and figured i was good. Got home from vacation and was looking at them and they were all messed up couldn't even see the pictures, i died inside. Went to Costco and said i need a new cd mine was all messed up he told me "everyone who printed or made cds that day got messed up and they fixed the problem but the pictures can not be retrieved" "so i hope you still have them" i just started at him as tears welled up in my eyes I ERASED THEM! erased the most important memories, now they are gone. he says "Im sorry miss, there is nothing we can do" I said you don't understand this is my only baby's 1st birthday!! I went home bawling and said a quick prayer. Pictures are my world and i couldn't have LOST THESE!! well after a lot of work i thankfully remembered i had put them on the computer and erased them, but was able to retrieve them! thankfully because i was having a nervous breakdown. Down side...lost all my super cute girls camp pictures! LAME!
